    ThuThursdayJunJune23rd2011 Pricing Update
On June 16th, we unveiled a new pricing structure for our Church CMS for ministry and church websites. Instead of basing our services on the size of your average weekly attendance, we are using a more industry standard price per administrator model.

In an upcoming release, we will provide the primary contact of your website with access to a new Account Settings control panel. It will provide an intuitive way to review and update who has administrative access, and much more. We will notify you once this new control panel is in place.

For those customers whose prices will be lowered, rest assured that we will be contacting you in the next 30 - 60 days informing you of your reduced rate.

We encourage you to check out our new pricing page for it will not only show you all of the features that you are getting for your monthly subscription fee, but also inform you of our new services like helping you manage your church website, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) assistance and our newly designed Premium Skins which can be purchased for a one time cost of only $75.

Please review the following frequently asked questions section below if you have any further questions.

    Sincerely,
    Dave McCall and Travis Hickox

What classifies someone as an Administrator?
Anyone who has any kind of Administrative access to your website.

    Are Small Group Leaders Administrators?
    No.

Will my monthly fee be changed?
Not yet. Your monthly fee will be adjusted once we have implemented the new Account Settings control panel. This will provide you with a way to adjust who has administrative access, tie multiple website accounts together as well as add your credit card for recurring monthly billing.

What is the time frame for my prices to change?
It could take a few months. We will be contacting those customers whose prices will be reduced within the next 30 - 60 days. For customers whose price will increase based on their administrative needs, we want to be sensitive to that. After the Account Settings control panel has been implemented, we will provide you with a 6 month grace period before adjusting your price.

My question isn't here. How do I contact you?
Please go to http://support.iministries.org and create a ticket.
    TueTuesdayAugAugust31st2010 Fresh New Look

Did you know that you don't need to switch Church CMS providers to get a new look for your church or ministry website?

When you first created your account with us, the idea of being able to change your websites look and feel in the future was a very attractive feature to you. Today we are contacting you to let you know that we are offering a 10% discount on our custom designs as well as informing you of our new Premium skins.

    Custom Skins

Our church website CMS gives you great flexibility. We can create a new design for you and "wrap" it around your existing website. What this means to you?
    • Huge time savings. Once the design has been implemented, all of the pages on your website will get wrapped in the new design.
    • Very cost affective. You understand and like the tools you use, you just want to your website to look better.
    • Less administrative hassle. Your staff will be happy to know that they don't need to learn how to use a new CMS to update your website.
    • Retain your links! One key component of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is link building. By using the same CMS, you will keep all of the links that have been captured by Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines.

    Premium Skins

Right before the summer of 2010, we rolled out a new service which we dubbed Premium. This new service gives you the ability to select a better looking design for your church website for only $75! It has been well received as several customers have already made the switch.

    Antioch Sinai Malta Joppa Elah
By clicking on any of the above images, you will be taken to a website that already has the design applied to it.

    One final thought

If you sign up for a new custom skin with in the next 30 days, we will give you a 10% discount! That is a savings of $310.

Committed to providing you with a great ministry/church website.

    TueTuesdayAugAugust24th2010 E-Mail Issues - What Happened?!? + Google Apps
    Greetings.

    First of all...

We are incredibly sorry that your e-mail was disrupted, specifically on August 16th and 17th. The reason for this issue was because a customer fell prey to a phishing scam which asked them for their e-mail user name and password. After providing the spammer with their credentials, the spammer, or group of spammers, began sending out tens of thousands of messages per hour. After discovering who accidentally caused the problem, we were able to stop the attack.

    Secondly...

While the user has issued a very heart felt apology, this gives us a very strong platform to provide the following two tips.
    1. Change your password
Maybe this is a point in your life when you want to get "nerdy". It's ok, we will support you. :-) May we suggest you go Leet Style because it is harder to crack? Here is an example...The Rock would equal Th3r0Ck!. Adding special characters like an exclamation point, changing the letter(s) that you capitalize and numbers can really increase the strength of your password. Here are the steps you need to take to quickly change your e-mail password.
    2. Don't give out your user name and password.
Please don't think that this couldn't happen to you for we all know that pride comes before a fall. Your digital presence needs to be protected. Think twice before handing over your "identity".

    Thirdly...

Because of this, we have upgraded our mail server which provides several enhancements. One very noticeable one is webmail. You should check it out...you know, because you are going to change your e-mail password and that is where you do it. :-)

    Fourth...ly

Before this issue even happened, we were going to announce that if you would like to switch over to using Google Apps, you most certainly can. To begin the process, simply fill out our form and we will contact you. Before you make the jump, be aware that you will need to provide us with your 501(3)(c) number, and we can get you running on Google apps for free!

    In closing...

Thank you for taking the time to read this e-mail and taking action on our guidance. Again, we are sorry that this situation has happened and caused everyone so much grief. We would like to add that we are very thankful to those who encouraged us during this stressful time.

    Sincerely,
    Dave McCall and Travis Hickox
    MonMondayAugAugust9th2010 Discontinued Site Watcher Feature
Well over a year ago, we made it possible to track your web site through Google Analyitcs. Thanks to these free, accurate, and expansive tools, we have decided to no longer support the Site Watcher feature that is found in your websites Site Controls. This page will no longer be accessible after September 1, 2010.

To learn more about using Google Analytics, which again is free and very easy-to-use, please see our How do I set up Google Analytics? help page. If you have any questions, please feel free to post comments to that help file.
    ThuThursdayAprApril22nd2010 Mid-April 2010 Updates
Another release is successfully in place. While our last two release have been very exciting with the addition of Locations, Custom CSS, Widget Manager, the ever popular Flash Rotator, Authorize.net integration and even Fellowship One integration, this release focused on bug fixes.

    Events

    Add to Calendar
When "Add to Calendar" was clicked, the event information wasn't accurate. Recurring events imported the end date incorrectly as it would omit the last day. Also, if the location field was added to the event, it would not display properly in your calendar.

    Event Registrations
When a user received their Event Registration e-mail, the email address at bottom was showing "strUserEmail". We also corrected an issue that was happening when someone would register a group of people to an event that was about to reach its capacity limit. Don't let your eyes glaze over...this is what this means. :-) If there were already 9 people registered for an event that could only except 10, you could register a group of 2 or more and the event would still accept your registration. This can no longer happen. We also fixed a random typo in event registration email.

    Calendar

We fixed a bug with the calendar print-view link.

    Other

    Progress Indicator
If you have upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, the uploader button that appears on Photo Gallery Add, Blog Entry Edit and Content Edit became unusable. We have added a new progress message to several pages. We will admit that it isn't a perfect replacement for the old progress indicator as it does not actually show progress, but it does communicate that something is in fact happening.

    Rotator
Upon saving a rotator in a Ministry, you would be brought back to the site level rotators instead of your ministry rotators.

    Help Videos

We have been working on a new batch of help videos and more are on the way. It would be in your best interest to either cycle through all of the videos that we currently have or visit this forum that has all of our help videos.
