Selecting Favorite Ministries

When first opening the app you will see two sections on the home screen. The first, 'View all Church news, events, and blog items' does just that. It will show every item, no matter what ministry it is associated with. The second option, which says None Selected when none are chosen, allows you to select specific ministries you would like to view. This, of course, is assuming the church has set up ministries. To choose what shows up you can either tap edit in the top right corner of the home screen or access it by tapping settings on the bottom right and tapping Favorite Ministries.

On the Favorite Ministries page simply click the plus (+) or minus (-) sign next to each item to add and remove them from the selected ministries section. The selected ministries section can be re-ordered so you can organize the list that shows on your home page. This is done by tapping and holding the three horizontal bars to the right of the ministry name and simply dragging the item to it's desired place.

Refresh Button

While viewing the app, tap the refresh button in the top right corner to check to see if any updates have been made to the app since you've been on. Note: If you are using iOS4 and close the app, then re-enter it and are on the same page, you will need to refresh to see new content if it's been added. Navigating from page to page in the app will automatically cause a refresh.
