Being spatially aware is important. Just like a cluttered house can make you feel nervous on the inside, a cluttered website does the exact same thing. Cramming your website with as much content as possible isn't the best thing in the world. It leaves your users frustrated. You might "appear" bigger, but if no one wants to use your website, who really cares?
This skin is simple. We created it so that you don't ever have to load a header if you don't want to, or if you don't have someone on your team that can help in this area. Don't worry though, if you do...this is still a great skin to use!
This skin also has a wider viewport (the area were all of the text and images sit) which allows you to have more content on the screen before having to scroll down the page. Another benefit to having a wider skin is that it allows you to have one or two more top level menu items. People don't like digging for stuff, so the more that you can put your big ticket items in your menu, the better.
Another nice point about this skin is that it uses our new Quick Menu feature that we developed for
Harvest Bible Chapel Oakville's
skin. While their Quick Menu is interactive (a button that is in the upper right hand corner of their screen pulls down their Quick Menu), this one stays statically positioned in the footer
